About DPA
Who are we?
Since 1970, the Data Publishers Association (DPA) has promoted and protected the interests of all companies operating in the directory and data publishing and search sector. This is a sector which today contributes well over £1bn to the UK economy.
The DPA's current membership not only includes mainstream data providers with household names such as Yell and Reed Elsevier, but also a whole host of organisations of all sizes who provide services and products to the sector, such as printers, software solution providers, and contract directory publishers. Whilst the DPA's members are predominantly UK companies, we also offer membership to overseas companies with UK interests.
Based in London, the DPA advances best practice within our industry and offers our members significant opportunities to develop their businesses by providing a complete and diverse range of services. These include:
- Networking
- Representation
- Communications
- Training and Seminars
- Publicity and Promotion
- Statistics
- Business Support and Legal advice
